For online submission, authors should first register in the journal site at http://www.psychoanalyticdiscourse.com/index.php/psad/user/register. Submissions must include an abstract, a reference list, and any notes, tables, or figures mentioned in the text.

As part of the blind peer review process, authors will need to upload a blinded manuscript without a title page, as well as a separate title page with the authors' institutional affiliations, acknowledgments, and contact information for the corresponding author. An abstract of 150 to 200 words should be included without the name of the authors. Reviews take from three to five months.

Authors are required to state in writing that they have followed the basic ethical standards in the execution of their research, and maintained the complete confidentially of any patient that may be the subject of their paper. The journal is not responsible for the authors’ violation of the ethical standards of academic honesty.

Manuscripts should not exceed 8500 words and must conform with the American Psychological Association's (APA) style and formatting guidelines. Text references should follow the author-date system, e.g., (Smith, 1996), and are cited within the text, not as footnotes or endnotes.
